Characterization and testing of solar cells by spectroscopy | Interview to Antonio Jesús Riquelme and Renán Escalante

We continue with the 2021 editorial line of our blog that this year deals with disruptors of now and forever and their influence on the present of energy. This month, we are going to dedicate it to the characterization and testing of solar cells using spectroscopy.

To address this issue we have invited Antonio Jesús Riquelme Expósito, graduated in Environmental Sciences from Pablo de Olavide University since 2014. He is currently doing his doctorate in the UPO’s Nanostructured Solar Cells group on fundamental studies of electronic dynamics in photovoltaic devices new generation and Renán Escalante Quijano, Physical Engineer from the Autonomous University of Yucatán, Doctor in Physicochemical Sciences from the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the IPN. He is currently doing a post-doctorate at the Pablo de Olavide University within the group of Nanostructured Solar Cells, investigating the reproducibility of devices with a view to scaling up processes and characterizing them by small disturbances.
