At Norvento, our work is hand in hand with our clients to address their energy needs and promote their decarbonisation.

Our highly qualified and specialised team studies each case in detail to offer the best solutions, always at the forefront of energy, and tailored to each client. Our unique proposal consists of providing the most appropriate solutions with the best technology for each specific case, in an efficient and sustainable way, to advance in the energy transition of companies and institutions, both public and private.

Our expertise and more than 40 years of experience are our backing when it comes to developing comprehensive advanced solutions throughout the entire value chain of an energy project: from its conception to its start-up and maintenance.

Our presence in practically the entire energy value chain allows us to have a global vision and provide high added value to the services we offer, giving our support as a strategic partner in a key sector for the entire commercial and industrial sector worldwide.

The energy challenges back us up. Strategic agreement with Vidrala, to support them in their Decarbonisation Plan.

Norvento has a strategic alliance with Vidrala, the leading company in the glass container manufacturing sector in the Iberian Peninsula, to reduce its dependence on fossil energy sources, promote its self-consumption and improve energy consumption in all its plants.

The evaluation of technologies to advance in its energy transition through solutions such as electrification, hydrogen and renewable energies are part of the different actions implemented to make its factories the most sustainable and efficient in the world. Our role in the Vidrala project ranges from strategic consultancy, engineering and EPC projects to the management of energy assets that the company will implement in the coming years.

Among the improvements already developed is one of Vidrala’s factories: Crisnova, located in Caudete (Castilla-La Mancha). This plant, which produces around 900 million glass containers per year, has a self-consumption facility with a power of 12 MW of renewable generation, and will reduce the emission of 9,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere per year. We are helping the ecological transition of large industry.

Some of our work in decarbonization

For our client Estrella Galicia, our highly specialised team conducted feasibility studies of renewable generation integration solutions, both in the thermal and electrical mix, carrying out a detailed analysis of their production processes and waste generated.

Norvento also carried out the energy generation engineering -electricity, heat and industrial refrigeration- for the new Estrella Galicia plant in the Morás business park (Arteixo, A Coruña), with the aim of achieving a zero emissions installation based on optimising and improving the efficiency of the generation systems and integration of renewables.

Our main headquarters, the Centro de Innovación Norvento Enerxía (CIne), located in Lugo, is a zero energy building, disconnected from the electricity and gas grid and powered entirely by renewables.

The CIne is made possible thanks to a 100% smart microgrid developed by Norvento, which combines wind energy from our nED100 medium-power wind turbine, photovoltaic panels, a rainwater and grey water management system, geothermal energy for underfloor heating and biomass cogeneration units, as well as a battery system capable of ensuring a permanent supply even during periods of low production of renewable energies. The CIne building is living proof that, with the right balance of technologies, it is possible to cover the entire energy demand of a sophisticated consumer with renewable energies alone.
