Norvento participates in Xilogracile Project

Norvento Ingeniería participates in the Xilogracile Project. The aim of this project is to provide the market with regular building products with a whole range of technical features using eucalyptus wood.

The objectives of Norvento Ingeniería are to develop highly-resistant composites with eucalyptus panels using fibres and bio-resins and to get new technological solutions to apply during the eucalyptus wood drying process. The project will include the design and development of a prototype of a low-consumption solar drying shed.

Other Galician companies participate in the project: Aserpal, Hermanos García Rocha, Maderas Besteiro and Seistag Innovación.

The project has been subsidized by the Spanish Centre for the Industrial Technology Development (CDTI) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), so it was supported by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.
