The plant will have the capacity to manage over 55,000 tons of waste materials a year and has been presented to the Innovation Fund – Small Scale of the European Commission. The installation will be located in Lugo, Spain, with the main objective to valorise food and agriculture waste materials, special from the dairy sector. Waste will be transformed into biomethane and it will be injected into the natural gas grid, promoting a sustainable circular economy model. Read press note.
