NORVENTO IN THE 2018 GALICIAN ENERGY FAIR

Norvento will take part in the 2^nd Galician Energy FAIR 2018, which will take place from the 22^nd to the 24^th March at the International Fair of Galicia at Silleda, Pontevedra. With a 70 m² stand, the visitors may learn first hand about the wide array of technological multi-renewable solutions that Norvento has to bring to the business network.

Lugo, 19^th March 2018.- Norvento, a Spanish renewable technologies company with comprehensive performance capabilities and over 35 years of experience in the sector, will announce its last technological developments in the field of distributed generation and advanced energy management systems (microgrids) in the second edition of the Galician Energy Fair. 

The company from Lugo has developed a portfolio of products and solutions that respond to the growing demand for self-consumption solutions in the private sector. These solutions and products are adapted to the specific needs of each sector of activity.

An example of this are the Bioplant gas plants, intended for the agricultural-livestock and industrial sector, which allow waste or by-products with a high organic matter content to be used for energy generation in a sustainable and profitable way.

For small and medium-sized companies of other industrial sectors, or services that are considering generating their own self-consumption energy, Norvento offers solutions based in the nED100 wind turbine, as well as solar photovoltaic energy.

On top of the technical solutions, Norvento also accompanies the client in all phases of the project, offering advice and constant support: from the feasibility study, looking for the most advantageous alternative, to the implementation of the project.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the technological innovations in the field of energy efficiency and management implemented in Norvento’s new corporate headquarters in Lugo. The building is 100% self-sufficient in renewable energy generated on site and disconnected from the electricity and gas grids. With a BREEAM rating of exceptional, the new Norvento headquarters is a national benchmark in the field of sustainable building, with a primary energy demand (electricity and heat) of around 34% of that of a conventional building. 

This is possible thanks to a microgrid that efficiently manages distributed generation, storage, and loads (electrical and thermal) of the building. All of this is completely isolated from the energy distribution networks. The microgrid includes multiple renewable generation technologies such as solar, wind and geothermal, as well as storage and regulation elements (batteries, buffer tanks). 

With several microgrid feasibility studies underway with companies in the Galician business sector, Norvento is confident that new projects of this type will materialise in the coming year. It is an increasingly competitive alternative that guarantees the reliability of supply and protects against volatility and increases in energy prices.
