Norvento Enerxía, a company that generates renewable energy, Technology associated with products and solutions related to advanced energy, has extended the photovoltaic deployment for MB92 Barcelona, a company specialized in the repair, refit, and maintenance of superyachts with more than 30 years of experience and leadership in the sector, carrying out an installation of 129 kW power in the F and G halls.
The company began this project in 2021, with the installation of the first photovoltaic panels at the Port of Barcelona facilities. The shipyard, dedicated exclusively to superyachts, is a leader in the Mediterranean area and annually provides service to more than 90 yachts with lengths ranging from 30 to 180 meters.

Marc Hervás, Sustainability Coordinator at MB92 Group, points out that the company has made significant progress in its path towards energy sustainability in recent years, with the reduction in the use of fossil fuels and the electrification of its docks being some of the most outstanding examples. In addition, in the last year, the shipyard has implemented a switch from diesel heaters to aerothermal systems in painting projects.
