Norvento Enerxía introduces one of its advanced power electronics converters in Chile

• Norvento’s solution will be part of a hybrid photovoltaic and hydroelectric power system, located on the outskirts of Santiago de Chile.

Norvento Enerxía, a Galician leader in renewable energy and technology for energy generation, management and storage, has collaborated as a supplier through a key project that promotes energy independence in traditional sectors of Chile.

Specifically, Norvento has supplied a 200 kVA nGM, for a hybrid photovoltaic and hydroelectric power system, which will improve the efficient management and storage of energy, facilitating stock trading.

The Norvento Gridmaster Converter (nGM) solution is a power electronics converter platform that enables energy storage and it can operate connected to the grid, in weak grids or in isolated systems and microgrids. This technology will be essential for optimising the integration of renewable energy sources in hybrid systems, demonstrating how technological solutions can improve the efficiency and sustainability in power generation.

Galician technology on the other side of the Atlantic
