Pablo Fernández Castro
President

Norvento has its beginnings in an electrical engineering firm founded by Pablo in 1981, which has since evolved into the company it is today. Norvento has two main business areas: Norvento Enerxia, a renewable energy pioneer since 1992, and Norvento TECHnPower, a technology company that has specialized in designing and manufacturing medium-capacity wind turbines and advanced power electronics systems since 2010.

He holds a degree in Advanced Electromechanical Engineering from ICAI and a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Pontifical University of Comillas and has also completed additional training in Business Administration at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Marta Fernández Castro
Vice President

Marta joined Norvento in 1996, having prior experience in the financial sector. She works with the president to manage the business, focusing primarily on corporate affairs related to finance, human resources, and branding.

She obtained her degree in Economics and Business Administration from ICADE, the Pontifical University of Comillas.

Iván Nogueiras Pérez
CEO

He joined Norvento in 2003 as a junior engineer and has since held various positions across the value chain, eventually rising to lead the energy division. He has played a key role in the strategy and development of Norvento’s most important projects. Currently, he focuses on expanding our energy assets and collaborates with the president on Norvento’s strategy and management.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Vigo and a PDD from IESE.

Elena Moral Grande
CEO of Norvento TECHnPower

Elena is the CEO of TECHnPower, Norvento’s technology and industrial division. She manages the development, industrialization, and growth of essential technologies for electrification and energy transition.

She has over twenty years of experience in management positions at technology-based industrial companies. Before joining Norvento, she built her career in the rail mobility sector, holding positions such as Chief Operating Officer, Director of Strategy and Transformation, and Director of Projects. In these roles, she led complex international programs and processes of business growth and transformation.

She holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Valladolid and a degree in Electronics and Automation Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, as well as an Executive MBA from IE Business School.

Marta Hermida González
People Director

Marta joined Norvento in 2025 to lead the Human Resources team as part of the company’s commitment to expanding its energy operations and technology and industrial initiatives. She has over twenty years of experience in human resources management at leading companies in sectors such as energy, consumer goods, telecommunications, and logistics.

She holds a degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from the University of A Coruña.

Beatriz Iglesias Lapido
Director of Administration & Control

Beatriz has led the Administration and Control department since 2019. She has a strong background in the field of auditing from her time at Deloitte, as well as extensive experience in the financial management of multinational groups across various sectors.

She holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a Master’s degree in Auditing from the University of Deusto.

Mariluz Lozano Cerezo
Director of Sustainability and Branding

Mariluz joined Norvento in 2000 and rose to the position of Director of the Environment Department. Throughout her career, she has contributed to important projects, including the construction of our self-sufficient headquarters (CIne) and our factory (neF0), which is one of the first zero-emission production facilities in Europe.

She currently leads sustainability, branding, and communications initiatives from the Corporate Division.

She holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Santiago de Compostela.

Álvaro Fernández Rico
Energy Director

Álvaro joined Norvento as a junior engineer in 2007. Since then, he has held various leadership positions, assuming his current role as head of the Energy division in 2024. In this role, he focuses on developing, constructing, and operating our renewable energy projects.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Vigo and a PDD from IESE.

Adrián Capelán Presedo
Director of Wind Technology at TECHnPower

Adrián is the Director of Wind Technology. He is responsible for leading the company’s technology strategy, innovation, and product development for wind energy solutions.

He has extensive experience at Norvento, where he held various technical and leadership roles in wind technology. Throughout his career, he has contributed to developing key technological advances for the company and strengthening its engineering capabilities He currently assumes a fundamental role in leading development teams and defining business strategy.

Adrián holds an Msc in Civil Engineering from the University of A Coruña and an Executive MBA from IESE Business School.

Álvar Mayor Miguel
Director of Power Electronics Technology at TECHnPower

Alvar is the Director of Power Electronics Technology, where he leads the company’s technology strategy, innovation, and product development for its energy conversion solutions.

Recognized for his track record in technological innovation, he has more than twenty years of experience in the development of advanced power electronics systems. He has promoted collaboration between industry, universities, and research centers to speed up the introduction of new technologies to the market, contributing to the development of differentiated solutions and the generation of intellectual property in this field.

He holds a Doctorate in Power Electronics from the University of Alcalá.

Jorge García Gómez
Head of Product Portfolio and Strategy at TECHnPower

Jorge is the Head of Product Portfolio and Strategy, where he leads the definition and evolution of the company’s portfolio of solutions, ensuring it reflects the business strategy and market needs.

He has a solid track record of managing technology projects in industrial settings and is particularly skilled in developing power converters for renewable energy applications. His cross-functional expertise facilitates coordination among the organization’s various departments, helping maximize the impact of development initiatives and achieve TECHnPower’s strategic objectives.

Jorge holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Valladolid and a Master’s degree in Organizational Engineering, Project & Business Management from the European University of Madrid.

Adolfo Ausin Herrero
Head of Power Electronics Product Development at TECHnPower

Adolfo is the Head of Power Electronics Product Development, where he leads the development of the company’s energy conversion technology solutions.

He has more than twenty years of experience applying power electronics to the energy and rail sectors. Since joining Norvento in 2017, he has led the development of the company’s first converters and played a key role in consolidating TECHnPower’s engineering and technological development capabilities, as well as in creating the product development team.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Carlos III University of Madrid and a Master’s degree in Advanced Electronic Systems from the University of Alcalá.

Miguel Hoyos Irrisari
Head of Wind Innovation at TECHnPower

Miguel is the Head of Wind Innovation, where he leads the identification, development, and validation of new technologies for the company’s future generations of wind power solutions.

He has more than thirty years of experience in the wind energy sector, dedicated to designing and developing wind turbines and applying technological innovations to renewable energy generation. Since joining Norvento in 2009, he has led the development of the company’s first wind turbines and played a key role in advancing its technological capabilities. He has contributed to developing proprietary solutions and has positioned TECHnPower as a leader in wind power innovation.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from ICAI, Universidad Pontificia Comillas.

Daniel Castell Martínez
Head of Electromechanics at TECHnPower

Daniel is the Head of the Electromechanics department, where he leads the development of mechanical and electromechanical systems for the company’s wind power and energy conversion platforms.

He has more than twenty years of experience designing wind turbines and developing technological solutions for the wind energy sector. Throughout his career, he has held technical leadership positions at some of the industry’s top international companies. He has participated in large-scale projects and contributed to the development of innovative technologies for onshore and offshore applications.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and has completed training in Business Administration and the General Management Program at IESE Business School.

Fernando Barreiro Ferro
Head of Energy Intelligence

Since joining the company in 2012 as an electrical engineer, he has advanced steadily in his career, ultimately being named head of the Energy Intelligence Team. In this role, he oversees projects and customized solutions tailored to clients’ electrification and decarbonization goals.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Vigo.

Eloy Fernández Felipe
Head of Operations and Maintenance

Eloy heads the department responsible for the operation and maintenance of renewable energy power plants. This service is characterized by its high availability rates, which are achieved through the implementation of the strictest quality standards and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master’s degree in Automotive Technology and Processes from the University of Vigo.
