The founder of Norvento will be explaining tomorrow in Pontevedra the potential of renewables, in his opinion, an essential tool to fight the energy crisis and reduce dependence on foreign countries.
The Pontevedra Business Forum has chosen the businessman from Lugo, Pablo Fernández Castro, to explain tomorrow the present and future of the energy sector to the employers’ association of the province. A senior electromechanical and industrial engineer from the ICAI, he founded Norvento in 1981, a company that began as a small engineering firm and has now consolidated its position as one of the most important energy groups in the country.
Its headquarters operates off-gridas well as its factory, under development, will follow in its footsteps. Fernández, a strong advocate of green energy capabilities, claims that we need energy sources to support our need during transition times, and also asserts that renewables are a key pillar in combating this and other potential future energy crises.
