Montouto Wind Farm

The wind farm is located between the municipalities of Abadín and Muras in Lugo, Spain. It consists of 31 660kW wind turbines, with 20.5MW of combined capacity. The installation is equipped with a building where the substation and the O&M centre are located. Indigenous materials were used in the construction of the building, which is perfectly integrated in the landscape.

Fiouco Wind Farm

The wind farm is located near Montouto Wind Farm, sharing some of its installations. It consists of 15 Ecotecnia E-74 1,600kW wind turbines, with 24MW of combined capacity. Thorough construction techniques were used such as minimization of road widths, foundations and levelled areas, and a complete revegetation of the area was carried out.

Coruxeiras Wind Farm

The wind farm is located in the council of Muras, Lugo, Spain. It consists of 31 Ecotecnia E-74 1,600kW wind turbines, 60 meter high and with a rotor diameter of 74 meters. The combined capacity reaches 49.6MW. The installation is equipped with a building where the substation and the O&M centre are located. This avant-garde building is fully integrated in the landscape.

The plant is located in the Cambás River, in the municipality of Aranga, A Coruña, Spain. The installed capacity reaches 2MVA. It is a fully-automated semi run-of-river installation. Indigenous materials were used in the construction of the building, which is perfectly integrated in the landscape.

The plant is located in the Verdugo River, in the municipality of A Lama in Pontevedra, Spain. The installed capacity reaches 4.6MVA. It is a fully-automated run-of-river installation. The exploitation is carried out using underground pipes without loading chamber to minimize the environmental impact.

The plant is located in the Oitavén River, in the municipality of A Lama in Pontevedra, Spain. The installed capacity reaches 4.2MVA. It is a fully-automated run-of-river installation. The installation was designed to be perfectly integrated and reduce the environmental impact.

El Retorno mini-hydro plant is located in La Marea River, in the municipalities of Piloña and Caso in Asturias, Spain. The installed capacity reaches 1,300kVA. It is a fully-automated run-of-river installation. The exploitation has been carried out using an underground pipe and a tunnel to minimize the environmental impact.

Sardón Alto Hydro Plant

The plant is located in the Duero River, in the municipality of Sardón de Duero in Valladolid, Spain. The installed capacity reaches 1.5MVA. It is a fully-automated run-of-river installation. It has a diversion dam and incorporates a fish ladder opposite to the intake. During its construction, countervailing measures were taken such as the plantation of 1.5Ha of riverside vegetation.

Bioallarluz Biomass Plant

Bioallarluz is located in Allariz in the province of Ourense, Spain. This installation is the only one that uses primary forest biomass in Galicia and is a pioneer of the sector in Spain. The installed capacity reaches 2.35MW. In this installation, various R&D studies are conducted about the combustion processes of different types of biomass, exploiting thermal energy in CHP and the recycling of biomass combustion ashes into forest fertilizer.

The plant is located in the municipality of Cospeito in the province of Lugo, Spain. It is a biomethanation installation linked to a cattle farm. The installed capacity reaches 50kW. The plant uses the farm’s waste materials and by-products to generate heat and electricity.

Fosso dell’Oro Solar Plant

The plant is located in the region of La Marche in the province of Macerata, Italy. It is a 1MW plant with polycrystalline FV modules and fixed structure.

The site is located in Vilalba in the province of Lugo, Spain. It integrates the first Norvento’s nED100 wind turbine. Its 100kW meet the demand of the wind turbine assembly plant and injects the surplus to the grid.

The site is located in Cervo, in the North of Lugo, Spain. It is a coastal area with strong winds so the site has allow testing the improvements in nED100 wind turbine’s design. Two nED100 wind turbines are now installed in Cervo with a total capacity of 200kW.

Shoreham Port is a thriving commercial port on the south coast of England. This Eco-Port continually looks for ways to improve efficiency and reduce its carbon footprint. Since the installation of two nED100 wind turbines, Shoreham Port’s consumption from the grid has been reduced by 50%.

Distributed Generation in Slagnaw Farm, UK

The two nED100 wind turbines located at Slagnaw Farm, Castle Douglas, Scotland are currently being used to power a dairy farm. The electricity is used around the clock to cool milk and water. Since the installation of two nED100, the farm’s bill from the local electricity supplier is 40% of what it used to be.
