The nGM BESS Skid is a modular, scalable skid-based BESS solution from 200 kVA to 800 kVA and up to 2.4 MWh. Integrated in 20- and 40-ft formats, it combines battery storage, galvanic isolation, grid-forming capabilities, integrated microgrid control and remote monitoring.

Certified Grid-Following

Compliant with European grid codes including FRT, UVRT and OVRT, providing active frequency and voltage support during normal operation and fault events.
Grid-Forming capabilities

Advanced GFM functionality provides configurable virtual inertia, droop P/f and Q/V control, Zenith/Nadir management, coordinated black start for parallel systems and short-circuit handling without disconnection.
Galvanic isolation

Built-in isolation transformer simplifies system architecture and facilitates deployment in off-grid and hybrid applications while protecting batteries through isolated DC and AC circuits.
UPS capability

Line interactive topology according to UNE 62040-3:2021, together with Norvento Static Switch, achieves class 1 UPS capability.
Optimized CAPEX

Plug-and-play design simplifies transport, installation and on-site commissioning, reducing project timelines and costs.
Integrated microGrid control and remote monitoring

Built-in PMS manages SOC, peak shaving, energy arbitrage, renewable production maximization and programmed schedules, while remote SCADA provides real-time data, historical trends and performance insights.
