The nXL HYB is a hybrid converter that enables PV and BESS DC coupling within a single unit, integrating DC/DC and DC/AC conversion stages in the same enclosure. It reduces redundant conversion stages, improves plant layout and maximizes energy use.

  • Configuration

    The modular architecture allows each sub converter to be configured with a DC/DC + DC/AC stage within the same unit, integrated with sodium cells.

  • Modularity

    Modular architecture based on four independent power modules, ensuring redundancy and high system availability, while allowing independent energy management for each DC input.

  • High efficiency

    Advanced components and control algorithms provide efficiency close to 99% and THDi < 1% across the full spectrum, reducing electrical losses and improving plant performance.

  • Grid-forming and advanced functionality

    Supports grid-forming and grid-following operation, grid support services, black start, STATCOM and active filter functionality, and seamless transition between operating modes.

  • COOLnAirtight Cooling System

    A dual system combining liquid cooling and HVAC provides thermal stability, full IP65 sealed and reliable operation in harsh environments while minimizing maintenance requirements.

  • Adaptable capacity

    Various power ratings to meet the specific requirements of each installation, up to 4.4 MVA.

  • Full-power operation up to 40 ºC

    The converter maintains nominal power up to 40 ºC without derating, supporting stable throughput in demanding ambient conditions.
