The nXL PCS/Na is a storage converter specifically designed for sodium-ion battery energy storage systems. Its modular architecture enables each sub-converter to be configured with a DC/DC + DC/AC stage, optimizing integration with sodium cells.

  • Grid-forming and advanced functionality

    Supports grid-forming and grid-following operation, grid support services, black start, STATCOM and active filter functionality, and seamless transition between operating modes.

  • COOLnAirtight Cooling System

    A dual system combining liquid cooling and HVAC provides thermal stability, full IP65 sealed and reliable operation in harsh environments while minimizing maintenance requirements.

  • Adaptable capacity

    Different power ranges to adapt to the specific requirements of each installation, up to 4 MVA.

  • Full-power operation up to 40 ºC

    The converter maintains nominal power up to 40 ºC without derating, supporting stable throughput in demanding ambient conditions.
