Since next 5th of May and until the end of 2021, up to 12 schools and high schools from 8 different councils will receive the visits of experts from Sotavento Galicia. They will organize educational activities about renewable energies, sponsored by Norvento. The initiative addresses those councils in Lugo, Spain, where Norvento has installed wind farms. Its aim is to bring renewable energies closer to young people, through educational activities developed by Sotavento Galicia, a company with up to 20 years of experience in energy education.
This way, the students will know about the repercussion of renewables in their own councils, their use and applications throughout the history and new ways to obtain energy. Young people know there is no sustainable future without renewable energies, but they need to have the necessary training to develop critical thinking and assess these energies. Read press note.
