“Fisterra” Project
Norvento Enerxía, the Automotive Technology Centre of Galicia (CTAG) and the Applied Power Electronics Technology research group of the University of Vigo will work on the FISTERRA research project (Intelligent and Sustainable Factory through Advanced Power Electronics and Augmented Reality). This Galician public-private R&D collaboration project is endowed with 2,659,287.76 euros by the Galician Innovation Agency and is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the framework of the Galicia ERDF 2021-2027 Programme.
Project “Trade Missions of Large Companies 2023”
Norvento Enerxía participates in an internationalization project promoted by IGAPE called “Commercial Missions of large companies 2023” and whose objective is to publicize our portfolio of distributed generation products and services aimed at European and Latin American markets. To do this, the company embarks on different commercial missions, in order to gather market information and publicize our technological commitment among electro-intensive companies and distribution network operators in different countries.
“Airluminum” Project
"Airluminum" is an R&D&I project in which Norvento Tecnología has been working since the end of 2020 and whose objective is to combine the advantages of direct drive permanent magnet generators with the benefits of the use of lighter materials, pursuing a substantial reduction in mass in this topology of wind turbines.
ZEPPELIN Project
Norvento participates in the ZEPPELIN research project that is part of the 2021 call of the MISSIONS SCIENCE AND INNOVATION Program of the Center for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI). The project aims to seek innovative, efficient and circular technological solutions for the production and storage of green hydrogen.
MOVES Program Singular Projects II
Norvento participates in the State Program of Incentives for Efficient and Sustainable Mobility (MOVES II Program) year 2020. An operation co-financed by the European Union FEDER Galicia 2014-2020 Operational Program that aims to achieve a cleaner and more sustainable economy: «A way to make a better Europe«.
VARAL Project
Our Bioenergy team participates in various research projects, such as the VARAL project, in which Norvento, together with other Galician companies, has developed a comprehensive valorisation plant for by-products and residual effluents from the dairy sector. This project, within the framework of the CONECTAPEME 2018 programme, is financed by the Government of the Autonomous Community of Galicia (Spain) through the Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN) and the support of the Department of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Industry and is co-financed by ERDF Funds in the framework of axis 1 of the ERDF Galicia 2014-2020 operational programme.
Microgrid-on-chip project
Norvento leads the MICROGRID-ON-CHIP research project, which consists of a battery inverter with integrated converter and microgrid control. The objective of the project is to develop an integrated solution for the control of hybrid microgrids based on a battery converter with state-of-the-art semiconductors, as well as a microgrid control system integrated into the converter itself. This solution is part of Norvento's technological development plans and its development requires the experience of the GEISER research group, set up by the University of Alcalá de Henares and the IMDEA Energía Institute.
Neosuccess Project
Norvento participates in the Neosuccess research project that is part of the Fast Track to Innovation call for H2020. The project aims to develop the first plug-and-play industrial solution that will integrate two complex and complementary processes: the treatment of biogas to convert it into biomethane and the production of bio-succinic acid from fermentation, two very valuable bio-resources to industry.
Italy Commercial Mission
Norvento participates in the Commercial Mission to Italy organised by the Chamber of Commerce of Pontevedra, Vigo and Vilagarcía with the aim of introducing its products in this market and bolstering its international position. This internationalisation project is co-funded by the European Union through the 2019-2020 Igape Plan Foexga. To support the internationalisation process, Norvento received the funding granted by the Government of Galicia through Igape co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund within the framework of the Galicia 2014-2020 ERDF operational program, OT3.
MODUL Project
Norvento leads the Integral Modularity project for the Installation of 100% Renewable Energy Systems on Remote Sites. The objective of the project is to develop technologies that facilitate the implementation of clean energy in remote regions, prepared to operate in extreme weather, through the development of modular systems that can be used for autonomous and logistically simple installation.
